Scheduling appointments: Information on annual, routine and sick visits

Client expectations and Not One More Vet information.

Annual visits and vaccinations

Reminders for your pets annual visits are sent via email every year to remind you of important upcoming deadlines for your pets vaccines and check up. Please make sure your email address with us is correct and current.

Please schedule these appointments as soon as possible as we book between one and two months out. We cannot schedule urgent or emergent vaccine appointments.

Routine Visits

Routine visits are those who are scheduled regularly for the following:

Allergy injections, Ichon injections, glucose checks, fluids, etc.

The visit for the next appointment should be scheduled at the current appointment. It may be difficult to get you in same week.

Sick Visits

We understand that when your pet is ill or injured that is a very stressful and worrisome time.

During your call, we will ask a number of questions to "triage" the situation. Please be patient with us at this time as we are doing our best to facilitate a number of sick and injured patients. We will schedule you for our next available appointment as well as put you on a cancelation list. *

*(Please see below on information on our cancelation list)

Cancelation List Information

If you are placed on our cancelation list, please make sure you put our phone number in your phone and be expecting our call. We will not leave a message. If you are unable to answer the call, we will move on to the next in line to facilitate both our valuable time and the number of pet's waiting to be seen.

We are usually able to clear our cancelation list with in one to two days depending on doctor availability.

Cancelation Policy- No Show Appointment Policy

In order to be respectful of the medical needs of our Community, please be courteous and call promptly if you are unable to attend an appointment. This time will be reallocated to someone who is in urgent need of treatment. This is how we can best serve the needs of our Community.

If it is necessary to cancel your scheduled appointment, we require that you call 24 business hours in advance. Appointments are in high demand, and your early cancellation will give another patient the possibility to have access to timely medical care.

To cancel or reschedule your pet's appointment, please call 505-298-6761 or send an email to juantaboanimalclinic@gmail.com. If you do not reach us, you can leave a detailed message on the voicemail.

No Show Policy

A "no show" is someone who fails to arrive at their appointment and does not cancel their appointment 24 hours prior to the appointment. In an attempt to alleviate some of these types of incidents, we are implementing a "No Show Fee" Policy. A $30.00 fee will be placed on the accounts of the clients that fail to arrive at their appointment and have not canceled or rescheduled the appointment appropriately. That fee will have to be paid before making another appointment.
