Juan Tabo Animal Clinic is a state-of-the-art facility with advanced diagnostics and equipment. We offer a wide vareity of services, from kitten and puppy care to complex surgeries, orthopedics, and dentals. We also offer boarding and daycare services to keep your pet safe and happy while you are away. We help to educate our clients on the importance of vaccinations, spay/neutering, and behavior/training. Our veterinarians are experienced with x-rays, dentals, and in-house blood diagnostics.

We use gas anethesia on most procedures to reduce the risk of anethesia related complications. We have equipment that allows us to monitor your pet's heart rate and oxygen levels while under anethesia. Our up-to-date surgery suite is equipped to deal with both elective and most emergency cases that arise. We have the ability to refer board certified surgeons on appropriate cases.

This is an area of special interest to us here at Juan Tabo Animal Clinic. We have an a specialized dental suite where full dental radiographs can e taken. The same monitoring equipment that is in our surgery room is also in our dental suite. We perform complete exams on each dental. The teeth are cleaned, polished, and treated with floride.

Along with elective dental procedures, we will examine your pet's teeth on annual visits and educate you as the owner how to prevent tooth extractions and gum disease.

We have state-of-the-art digital x-ray machine that allows us to get the most accurate images to help us diagnose internal or orthopedic problem areas. We also have internal medicine specialists that we can refer to if an ultrasound or endoscopy is needed.

A semi-annual to annual exam is highly recommended for your pet. Animals do age faster than humans, and the earlier a problem can be diagnosed, the better it can be treated. A complete exam will consist of a head-to-toe exam. Having a good look at the eyes, ears, and oral cavity, listening to the heart and lungs, feeling the abdomen, examining the reproductive organs, checking the nervous sytem, looking at the skin, and evualating the musculoskeletal system all constitute a complete exam. Preventative medicine is definitely the best medicine.

We work on educating our clients on ways that they can implement preventative medicine, which includes vaccinations, heartworm preventtion, intestinal parasite prevention and dental care.

We have a well-equipped house laboratory that allows us to better treat the animals we see. Our trained staff is able to perform complete blood counts, evaluate the chemistry levels of our patients, and evaluate urine as well as several other diagnostic tests.

We also utilize a national referral laboratory that is fast and efficient. Biopsies are sent to a board certified pathologist.

There are many medicines that are just for animals. Our pharmacy is here to provide you with the medicines that will best fit your pet's needs right here in house.  We have access to a compounding pharmacy that can provide difficult-to-find medications. They are able to generate medicines that are easier to give those animals that are hard to medicate.

We have recently expanded our pharmacy to include an online store, which allows oour clients to have access to many more medications and over-the-counter items than we are able to carry in the hospital.
